Skilled people are the strength of any countries economic growth. But this is one of the toughest jobs in the world. Every country is struggling with this to make more manpower skilled. Lots of foreign country is giving entry for skilled people called skill migration. As SAP in Bangladesh is now the fastest growing ERP, is implemented to control business and ensure ROI at the shortest time. But here also the skill people needed to make this successful. About 50 companies already implemented SAP in Bangladesh and more are on pipeline, so there is a huge gap between number of SAP implementation and backup of skill manpower by SAP Training in Bangladesh.

All the companies are implementing SAP with the suggestion of Implementation partner, most of them are suggesting the organization that they will train every people as needed and more over if needed they will give support. Unfortunately all the companies falling in this trap. All the partner companies have service of after implementation support or post go-live support so if the local people became skill, how they will get the business? I have few questions regarding this:

01.  Are those partners perfectly configuring the system? If yes than why we need immediate post implementation support from the same partner as they have trained the people?

02.  If your people don’t have the knowledge of the preferred output than how they will take hand over of the project? So to who you are believing, is it not like asking crocodile to look after your chicken?

03.  Dose the partner will have the same responsibility and loyalty to your organization as your own employee has.

04.  If your people doesn't have the skill to take the handover of any development from partner than how you will judge the partners work and the time. So more time more money you are losing.

05.  Another very important issue is that your partner doesn’t know the culture of the your company and they can’t force the people to give perfect requirement, so the project score changed rapidly which is going towards project failure and loose of huge money with time.

06.  And the last but 1^st priority is the skilled employees. Who will enter the data in the system on timely and perfectly. Without this your ERP implementation means nothing as you can’t do any analysis without correct and timely data. I can guarantee you that no partner can make those people skilled within the short project period.

07.  So only one solution or way out is make your own people skilled by giving them proper SAP training.
